It seems like good things do happen to you when you have a talent for identifying landscape photographs, which is what Ingo Georges Vandenberghe had to do in order to win a very special prize from Porsche.
Ingo will be joined by Gordon Robertson, Chief Driving Consultant at Porsche Experience Center Silverstone, when embarking on a 1,000 road trip around England and Wales in a Porsche 918 Spyder plug-in hybrid supercar.
The 918 Spyder will be flanked by a Cayenne S E-Hybrid and a Panamera S E-Hybrid in order to make the journey even more special and to showcase the fact that Porsche is the only premium car maker to offer three plug-in hybrid models.
At each stage of their 1,000 km road trip, Porsche owners and fans will get the chance to see the 918 Spyder up close and sign their names on it - something Porsche made possible by using a special wrap on the car.
The whole thing starts in central London at the Mondrian Hotel on April 27, after which they head out to Windsor Castle, Porsche Cars GB and Oxford before driving out to Bristol and the Cardiff Millennium Center the very next day.
On April 29, it will be at the Porsche Center Tewkesbury, Bourton-on-the-Water and a quick visit to the Porsche Club GB HQ in Moreton-in-the-Marsh. On the final day, they'll visit Warwick Castle, the Porsche Experience Center Silverstone and finally Canary Wharf in London.
We're sure that Mr. Vandenberghe is going to have a blast while riding in the 918 Spyder. Experiencing what it's like to accelerate in a "2 second" car can be a very rare treat.
